Hi! I am Dan Frisbie of Milton, FL. I am a retired US Navy Chief and currently an electronics technician in the Gulf Of Mexico working for the oil and gas industry. By continuing what my Mom started in the 70's, I have been able to bridge a few gaps and trace my line back to Edward.
I wish more of you would visit the discussion forum, we could share a lot of info there.

Sarah,
Just checking in. When you have another reunion in Branford, CT I would try to come if still able. My niece and her husband are living in Evanston now. Perhaps they will stop by to see you one of these days. smiley

I am the daughter of Don Frisbee and grandaughter of Elmer Frisbee. At the age of 22 I know very little about the Frisbee side of my family. I grew up in Rochester, NY around the corner from Frisbee Hill road. I have many childhood memories of sledding on the hill right by the graveyard where many Frisbee's have been burried. But yet I know nothing about my ancestors or my family history or even if I'm related to any of the Frisbee's burried on Frisbee hill road. I'm not sure if I am linked to the other spellings of Frisbee, but I am the daughter of a twin and also have blue eyes, two traits that seem to be prevelant in Frisbee's? My family history is something that I'd love to learn more about.

My great grandmother Austin left a genological note that her grandmother, Mary Frisbee had told her that her father, Dr. Frisbee, a noted physician, had come to America with Lafayette. do you have any knowledge of such a doctor named Frisbee in revolutionary war times?

Thanks,

Mark

Hi - My Great Grandfather Arthur Hallam Grace #2-1019-1072 is noted as a new member of the fffaa in January 1979. Acording to the bulletin, we "boast three lines of descent from Edward Frisbie of Branford." Interestingly, I spent all of my summers as a child about 10 minutes away from Branford, just off the coast on one of the Thimble Islands, without ever realizing how close we were to our family heritage. I have tears in my eyes from reading some postings that are so full of family pride, and am thrilled to carry-on my great-grandfather's membership in the fffaa. Hopefully I will also be able to contribute to some documentation! I also have cousins in the Chicago area who will be disappionted to hear that they missed the Evanston reunion. I look forward to the next in Philadelphia, as we live only about an hour away.
Best,
Jenn smiley

Hi- I am the daughter of Lona (Frisbie) Green born in Iowa and lived in Illinois the majority of her life. She had been doing research on the Frisbie family and we have Nora's book. She passed away in June and was not able to do a direct connection to Edward. I was hoping someone could help me make the connection. She has it back to Samuel the son of Josiah Jr and then to Josiah (1752-1842). From there she has a couple of possibilities-Daniel, Abiel. I read about the reunion in the Tribune and was so excited to see the name Frisbie. She has told us about the name and the flying disc.
Thanks.,
Julie

Greetings My Cousins! I am a 13th Generation Frisbee/Frisbie from Edward Frisby. My uncle, Leon Frisbee Sr, is the family historian, and he had a number of reference materials from Nora, and I believe he was or is involved with your association. I was thrilled about hearing of the organization back in 1985, but was unable to attend the Frisby/Frisbie/Frisbee Reunion then held in Branford, CT. Dad (Larry James Frisbee) and Mom were there though and they had a blast. The Descendants of Raymond Frisbee (my Great Grandfather - Olean NY) hold our reunion first August weekend annually since 1975, now held in Olean NY. I'm looking forward to joining the FFFAA and helping to assist where I can. 24 years in the Information Technology field, semi-retiring from it to follow my passion into the Culinary Field. If I can assist in any way - just email me.

Hi! I am an 11th generation descendant of Edward Frisbie & a 5th generation descendant of Hanson Zebulon Frisbie who settled our family's farm, Maple Croft, at Grantville, KS in 1874. The story of the Frisbie's has been passed down through our family until it has become an integral part of my being...I can't imagine living as anyone else! It is wonderful to find you on the internet; looking forward to reading much more.
